USDA Federal Register – Agricultural Marketing Service Requests Comments on Bioengineered Foods List

USDA’s Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) is asking for comments on whether to add sugarcane to the List of Bioengineered Foods because Brazil has authorized commercial production of BE sugarcane.

If AMS did decide to add sugarcane, separate rulemaking would be required.

The comment period is only 30 days.
