Sugar Containing Products Report – 2018/19 Quarter 4

Below is a copy of Agralytica’s sugar-containing product report for the fourth quarter of the 2018/19 marketing year.

Of note:

• “Imports of SCP’s for the marketing year hit an all-time high of 1,910,144 strv, a 4% increase over 2017/18.”
• For 2018/19, the U.S. imported:
  • 610,292 tons of SCPs from Canada
  • 636,712 tons of SCPs from Mexico
  • 663,141 tons of SCPs from other countries
• “Net imports of sugar in products once again exceeded one million tons this marketing year.”
