The Department of Commerce is initiating a formal scope inquiry “to determine whether U.S.-origin sugar, which is packaged in Mexico into kraft paper bags or supersacks and then reimported into the United States, is outside the scope of the” AD and CVD suspension agreements (see notice below).
Batory Foods and Rafi Industries made the application for this scope ruling.
“Interested parties may comment on Commerce’s preliminary scope ruling…no later than 20 days after the issuance of the preliminary scope ruling.”
