American Society of Sugar Cane Technologists - a scientific society which studies the production of sugar and sustainability of growing sugarcane.

Coalition for Sugar Reform - an alliance of consumer, food and beverage manufacturers, trade advocacy, environmental, taxpayer watchdog organizations, responsible government advocates, think tanks and other interests. The Coalition’s objective is to bring about reform and change to the federal government’s overly restrictive sugar program that has increasingly failed to provide adequate supplies of sugar to the U.S. market.

Corn Refiners Association - the national trade association representing the corn refining (wet milling) industry of the United States.

Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) - an international marketplace for agricultural and financial futures and options, including sugar.

U.S. Department of Agriculture - administers the U.S. sugar program.

U.S. Trade Representative - negotiates directly with foreign governments to create trade agreements and resolves trade disputes.

World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates - monthly report providing the most current USDA forecasts of U. S. supply and use of sugar and other commodities.

World Sugar Research Organization - a worldwide alliance of sugar producers, processors, marketers, users and their associations dedicated to the development of a better understanding of sugar in health, nutrition.

World Trade Organization - the only global organization dealing with the rules of trade between countries.
